NAUI COURSES AND PROGRAMS


        Passport Diver Program: This is a non-certification program run in one day with 2 sea dives in shallow water. The participants are issued a NAUI diver's passport after the program’s completion. One must be 12 years old minimum to enroll.

        Scuba Diver Course: This is the first level of certification. It is a 4 days course and it includes one skin-dive and four scuba dives, all open water dives and also 14 academic hours. The students apply all taught knowledge and skills in the sea in a non-threatening environment not exceeding 18 m (60 ft) depth with your Instructor. You must be 15 years old to be certified.

        Advanced Diver Course: This is a task-oriented course which takes 3 days, and there is no classroom work involved. The course includes 6 dives, of which 3 core dives and 3 complementary dives, like underwater navigation, deep diving (maximum 30m) underwater environment diving, underwater photography or videography, shore diving, boat diving, wreck diving and more. One must be a NAUI Scuba Diver or equivalent and 15 years old to enroll in the course.

        Scuba Rescue Course: The course is run in 3 days and involves knowledge development in classroom and in-water practice for first aid and CPR. It includes 2 open water sessions and 6 academic hours. One must be a NAUI Scuba Diver or equivalent and 15 years old to join the Rescue Course.

*Note: the Scuba Diver, Advanced Scuba Diver and Scuba Rescue Diver Courses can be taught all year round upon request.

        Master Scuba Diver Course: This is a 6 day course, which program is very intensive with dives and includes 23 academic hours. The NAUI Master Scuba Diver has the knowledge of a professional dive leader and is therefore a mandatory course for leadership and professional training. The course is divided into 2 segments:
    1) Academic lectures: further development of diving physiology, diving physics, equipment, environment, decompression theory and dive tables, safety and rescue.
    2) Skills development: Achieved during 8 tasks oriented scuba dives of which 3 complementary dives.
One must be a NAUI Advanced Diver or equivalent to enter the course and be 15 years old.

         Specialty Courses: these are designed for divers to specialize in numerous diving activities such as: Underwater Navigation, Night Diving, Deep Diving, Underwater Photography or Videography, Underwater Environment, Drift Diving, Dry Suit Diving etc. We run these courses by special appointment.

IDA / CMAS COURSES


        Intro Dive – Introduction dive

        Flipper 1 – for children over 8 years, they are taught to dive with mask, snorkel and fins. This skin-diving program includes different techniques to dive with snorkel.

        Flipper 2 – for children over 10 years, they learn how to breathe with scuba, and under the guidance of a dive leader or instructor how to dive in flat and shallow waters.

        Basic Diver – students receive the necessary theoretical knowledge and practice in-water sessions to make their first open water dive. The minimum age to enroll the course is 14 years.

        IDA/CMAS* – the training in this course include the necessary theory and practice to teach the students how to dive in groups. This certificate allows to its holder to make dives in most of the scuba diving centers around the world. The course includes 4 logged dives at maximum depth 20 m and lasts 4 days. The minimum age to enroll the course is 14 years.

        IDA/CMAS** – this level of training, allows the diver to plan himself underwater dives and to dive with a buddy at least at his certification level. The course includes 4 logged days at maximum depth 20m. The minimum age to enroll the course is 14 years.

        IDA/CMAS*** – most importantly this level of certification allows its holder to lead a group of scuba divers for underwater dives, even when the divers of the group are certified at a lower level. The course includes 6 logged dives, one of them at maximum depth 30m. The minimum age to enroll the course is 15 years.
